Why is ProQual building the ProQual Elite Verified Network?

The ProQual Elite Verified Network is designed to bring subcontractors together with Prime Contractors and Builders or “Network Access Members”. Because Prime Contractors and Builders are always looking to increase their network of quality subcontractors, ProQual, a division of Assurance Screening will providing to Network Access Members the information on the ProQual Elite Members which would encompass a beginning level of prequalification*. ProQual Elite Member firms will be included on a Member’s Only Network database to be accessed by “Network Access Members” in Texas who are looking for qualified subcontractors.

Why would I want to be a part of the ProQual Elite?

Contrary to popular belief, Prime Contractors and Builders do not always take the lowest bid The ProQual Elite Verified Network is designed to bring Prime Contractor and Builder Members, or “Network Access Members” to quality subcontractors who want to showcase themselves. By keeping on file up-to-date information on project references, bonding information, Texas region of servicing capabilities and others, ProQual Elite Network Members are now over half-way done with the prequalification process for the majority of Prime Contractors and Builders*. Why would a Prime Contractor or Builder want to become a “Network Access Member”?

Prime Contractors and Builders are always looking for quality subcontractors. “Network User Members” will be able to search the ProQual Elite Network Database to locate subcontractors by CSI Division Codes, Regional Work Preferences, Minority Certifications and more. “Network Access Members” will have the ability to view detailed information on the ProQual Elite Website through their secured login portal and utilize the database as a resource for finding qualified subcontractors across the State of Texas.

How do the “Network Access Members” or the Prime Contractor and Builder Members view my information? How do I know they will actually SEE my information?

“Out of sight, out of mind,” will not be a concern for the ProQual Elite Members. Your information will get in front of the eyes of the right people through two different ways:

  1. Weekly Emailed Reports
  2. Website Secure Login Portal for Full Detailed Access

Weekly Emailed Reports. Every Monday, “Network Access Members” receive a database membership report via email. The weekly reports will keep your company’s name fresh in the minds of the Prime Contractor and Builder Members.

Each report contains the ability for the GC Member to search Elite Network Members by the following criteria:

  • Company Name Search
  • CSI Division Code Search
  • Texas Regional Work Preference Search
  • Project Bonding Capability Search (Y or N)
  • MBE/DBE Certified (Y or N)
  • LEED Certified (Y or N)

Website Secure Login Portal for Full Detailed Access. “Network Access Members” have multiple logins to the database, where they have the ability to pull up member files and view their documentation. Users include CFOs, Estimators, Directors of Prequalification, and others who make contracting and hiring decisions.

Which Prime Contractor and Builder contacts, or “Network Access Member” users have access to my information?

Our goal is to put your company’s information in front of the decision makers who will be evaluating bids and awarding contracts. The types of contacts who will be emailed WEEKLY the ProQual Elite Verified Network Member list include CFOs, Estimators and Directors of Prequalification, and others applicable.

How often does my information need to be updated on the ProQual Elite Network?

A constant complaint of other subcontractor databases is that contact information is OLD, never VERIFIED, and NOT actively being updated. The team at ProQual will be reaching out to you quarterly, or 4x per year to make sure your company contact data is up-to-date. The goal at ProQual is to MAKE SURE Prime Contractors and Builders can contact you. You will have the peace of mind knowing that your company contact information is current so you don’t miss out on important RFP’s from “Network Access Member” Prime Contractor and Users.

How often do I need to enroll in the Elite Verified Network? Will my dues go up if your Network Access Users double in a year?

Your enrollment is good for one calendar year. At the end of the year, you will have the ability to extend for an additional year with no dues increase, no matter if our “Network Access Members” triple. ProQual will be reaching out to Prime Contractors and Builders across the State of Texas offering initial complimentary access to the ProQual Elite Network Database. Will the information submitted to the ProQual Elite Network take the place of my firm filling out an Elite Network Access Member’s own prequalification form?

A goal of the ProQual Elite Network is to help eliminate subcontractors having to constantly fill out multiple prequalification documents for Prime Contractors and Builders. By being a ProQual Elite Network Member, you will provide the information that will encompass a basic level of prequalification that most Prime Contractors and Builders would be requesting. If an “Network  Access Member” Prime Contractor or Builder wants additional information on your firm, you may be sent a supplemental online or physical document to fill out in order to collect the missing information or documents requested by the Network Access Member firm; however it is still up to the discretion of each Prime Contractor and Builder.

Does it matter what bid software my company utilizes? Will that limit the Prime Contractors and Builders who see my information?

ProQual understands there are many available options on the market for bidding software. For this reason, the ProQual Elite Verified Network will not be tied to any specific platform. Regardless of which software the “Network Access Member” Prime Contractor or Builder uses, your information can still be accessed.

How will I know if a “Network Access Member” Prime Contractor or Builder wants additional information on my firm?

A ProQual representative will send additional communication to your main contact, when further information is requested on your firm by a Prime Contractor or Builder “Network Access Member”. Your firm may be asked to provide additional documentation at that time, which is up to your discretion to provide.

Can other Elite Network Members (like me) view my company’s information?

No. Only Elite “Network Access Members”; or those that do business as Prime Contractors or Builders will have access to the weekly reports and have the ability to have website database login access for more detailed viewing of your firm’s information.
